NPP Essays and Articles

The Istanbul Bosphorus Rainbow Bridge project is always on the table for the Turkish authorities to reconsider sanctioning. The philosophy of this project is inspired by Turkey's national slogan: Peace at Home, Peace in the World.

News: NPP takes interest in current affairs whether mainstream, alternative and inbetween. PR man Max Clifford said years ago, the story on the front page merely keeps the more interesting story off the front page; though quoting Clifford may not be the most politically correct thing to do today. The Story So Far began as a 'diary' chronicalling the activities of NPP. It has evolved into a list of articles, videos and links to stories from the world of current affairs. Generally, the 'official' story often appears not the true story and the true story is often allusive.

Among the biggest issues rarely addressed seems to be who we, humans beings, are and where we come from. The current parameters of thinking seem restricted to Darwin's theory of evolution and the religious doctrine of creationism. On an alternative thread, Professor Stephen Hawking, perhaps a willing or unwitting gatekeeper for conventional wisdom,  warns us that aliens almost certainly exist, but humans should avoid making contact. What a bizarre statement to make:

A couple of significant quotes:

"Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. Inexplicably, and with disastrous consequences, it never appears to have occurred to Washington that once Russia was out of the way, Bin Laden's organisation would turn its attention to the west."

"The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the 'TV watcher' to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US and the lobbyists for the US war on terrorism are only interested in making money."
